• Salary: £33,000 to £34000k per year + possible overtime
• Shifts: Monday to Thursday 8am–5pm, Friday 8am–12pm

We are looking for an Assembly Operative to join our specialist Fitting Annexe team near Uxbridge. In this role, you will carry out precision assembly and inspection tasks that contribute directly to the manufacture of life-saving equipment.

As an Assembly Operative, you will:

• Assemble and inspect complex sub-assemblies to high standards
• Work from technical drawings, build plans and acceptance test procedures
• Use hand tools, gauges and inspection equipment to ensure accuracy
• Carry out inspections of first-offs and finished parts to company standards
• Maintain strict quality and safety controls at all times

Key Skills & Experience that is required: 

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and gauges
• Understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
• Stable work history is essential
