Salary: £33,000–£34,000 + overtime
Hours: Mon–Thu 8am–5pm | Fri 8am–12pm (37.5 hrs/week)

What You’ll Be Doing as an Assembly Operative (Fitting Annexe)
- Assemble and inspect precision aerospace components and sub-assemblies
- Work in a specialist annex where complex assemblies for ejection seats are built and quality-checked
- Interpret detailed engineering drawings and follow accurate build instructions
- Use hand tools, gauges, and inspection equipment with precision
- Adhere to strict aerospace quality, safety, and traceability standards
- Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to meet production deadlines
The ideal candidate
- Experience in assembly, mechanical fitting, or precision manufacturing
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Skilled with hand tools and measurement devices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, proactive, and eager to develop within a specialist engineering environment
