Mechanical Assembler – Aerospace Manufacturing

Are you an experienced Mechanical Assembler looking to join a world-class aerospace manufacturing environment? We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our specialist Pipe Section, producing precision-engineered components that play a critical role in aircraft safety systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Mechanical Assembler who enjoys working with precision components, engineering drawings, and high-quality manufacturing standards.

Salary: £33000k to £35000k equivalent - to £23.00 to £25.00 per hour plus overtime @1.5 
Location: Denham, Buckinghamshire (UB9)

Key Responsibilities

  • Cutting and preparing metal pipes to specification using workshop machinery and tools.
  • Setting up and operating pipe-bending equipment for the bending of pipes to exact engineering requirements.
  • Performing the bending of pipes and assembling complex pipework to tight aerospace tolerances.
  • Hand fitting and assembling pipe components using engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Inspecting finished assemblies and carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment.
  • Completing production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Maintaining tooling and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing team.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler or within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience using hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH.
  • Experience in the bending of pipes would be highly advantageous.
