Assembly Operative
Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire
Salary: £26,700 + possible overtime
Shifts: Monday - Thursday 8 am-5 pm, Friday 8 am-12noon
An established and respected engineering company in the aerospace sector is currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join its Pyro team in Chalgrove!
What You’ll Do As An Assembly Operative:
- Handle explosive materials and components with care.
- Accurately interpret assembly drawings and production documents.
- Assemble components to precise tolerances using specialized equipment.
- Conduct self-inspections and quality checks.
- Update SAP systems to ensure accurate work progress tracking.
What We’re Looking For In An Assembly Operative:
- Production/manufacturing experience in a similar environment.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and health & safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Team player who can also work independently under pressure.
