We are recruiting for a MARKING & PACKING TECHNICIAN for an aerospace company in Denham UB9. Own transport would be to your advantage.

As a Marking & Packing Technician, you’ll be trusted with ensuring components are clearly identified, fully traceable and perfectly prepared for despatch. Your work will support the entire production flow.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Part marking components and assemblies using ink marking and laser engraving, in line with engineering drawings
  • Packing parts for despatch, ensuring correct labelling, documentation and protection
  • Interpreting assembly drawings and work instructions to identify part numbers, finishes, issues and process requirements
  • Using route cards to confirm marking methods and obtaining serial numbers for full traceability
  • Carrying out self-inspection and quality checks to required standards (including inspector stamping where authorised)
  • Supporting Lean initiatives such as 5S and continuous improvement
  • Completing SAP transactions relevant to the department
  • Handling materials safely to prevent damage or accidents
  • Monitoring tools and equipment, arranging recalibration or replacement where needed
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient working environment

Are you methodical, accurate and take pride in doing things properly. You’re comfortable following procedures but confident working independently when needed.

Essential experience & skills:

  • Basic production packing experience in a similar environment
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Basic computer skills
  • GCSE-level education or equivalent
