CNC Machine Shop Supervisor – Aerospace Manufacturing – Denham

Salary: £50k–£55k + 10.28% shift uplift | 7 days on / 7 days off | 7am–5pm

We’re seeking an experienced CNC Machine Shop Supervisor to lead a skilled team in the manufacture of precision aerospace components, including life-saving ejection seat parts. As a CNC Machine Shop Supervisor, you’ll mentor and support Cell Operatives, monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 72 staff with the support of supervisors
• Allocate work, track performance, and manage KPIs
• Oversee recruitment, appraisals, and employee development
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and safe working practices
• Operate, program, and set CNC machines (technical oversight)

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience leading teams in aerospace or manufacturing
• Strong engineering background and machine shop experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings and analyse performance data
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
