We are recruiting an experienced CNC Miller to programme, set and operate Mazak machining centres for a precision engineering business in Stonehouse. The work involves varied components, small batches and high-value materials.

The Role

• Programme, set and operate Mazak 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Machine components in aluminium, Inconel 718, 316 stainless steel, F52, and aluminium bronze.
• Produce components of varied sizes, including small batches often around 10 pieces.
• Read and interpret imperial engineering drawings.
• Carry out first article inspections and work within an AS9100 quality system.

About You

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC milling machines.
• Experience with Mazak 510, J500, J600 or i800T machines would be particularly useful.
• Confidence in machining high-value materials and maintaining quality.
