Engineering Estimator / Commercial Estimator

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Mon-Friday | 39 hours per week. 

We are recruiting for an Engineering / Commercial Estimator to join a well-established engineering company near Abingdon. This is a great opportunity to join a professional and supportive team where you can take ownership of projects from enquiry through to completion.

The Role

• Review customer enquiries and interpret engineering drawings
• Prepare cost estimates and quotations
• Liaise with customers on technical requirements
• Support projects from initial enquiry to order completion
• Work with suppliers and production teams to ensure accurate costing

About You

• Mechanical or manufacturing engineering background
• Experience with estimating, quotations or proposals
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience within machining or manufacturing is advantageous
