About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team in Feltham. This is an office-based position where you will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects from client order placement to project completion. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination: Oversee project timelines and processes from the client’s initial order through to completion, ensuring all elements run smoothly and efficiently.
  2. Client Liaison: Engage regularly with the client’s project team, attending required meetings, and updating project documents through their systems.
  3. Design Collaboration: Work closely with the design manager to conduct surveys and address any buildability issues.
  4. Material Procurement: Coordinate with the Purchasing department for timely placement of orders and schedule deliveries to the workshop.
  5. Production Oversight: Stay engaged with the production manager throughout fabrication, ensuring readiness for site delivery.
  6. Safety Preparations: Ensure all necessary RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and Lift Plans are prepared prior to site delivery.
  7. On-Site Coordination: Maintain daily communication with site teams, ensuring they have all the resources needed for smooth operations.
  8. Commercial Issue Resolution: Identify any commercial issues, and prepare documentation for the commercial lead to support cost recovery.
  9. Project Handover: Complete all necessary handover documents and check sheets for project close-out.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior project management experience in a Steel Works field
  • Collaborative Skills: Ability to work alongside another Project Manager until fully trained for independent project handling.
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain a full airside pass, requiring a five-year reference check and a CRC (Criminal Record Check).
  • Eligibility: Right to work in the UK is required.
