CPCS Appointed Person (AP)
Location: Farringdon, London
Duration: Long-term, ongoing work

We are currently looking for an experienced CPCS Appointed Person (AP) to join a long-term construction project based in Farringdon. This is a site-based role, with consistent work and the opportunity to support multiple nearby sites when required.

This position would suit a hands-on Appointed Person who is also willing and able to sling loads and act as Lift Supervisor when required.

Role Responsibilities

  • Acting as the CPCS Appointed Person on site
  • Producing and managing Lift Plans (LPs)
  • Supervising lifting operations in line with regulations
  • Slinging loads and lift supervision when required
  • Supporting lifting operations across nearby sites if there is no continuous lifting on the main site
  • Working closely with site management and crane teams

Requirements

  • Valid CPCS Appointed Person (AP) qualification
  • Ability and willingness to sling and lift supervise
  • Site-based mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Experience producing Lift Plans (support available where experience is limited)
  • Strong communication and safety awareness
