CPCS Appointed Person

CPCS Appointed Person (AP)
Location: Farringdon, Central London
Duration: Long-term, ongoing work
Rate: £28.00 per hour, working 42.5 hours per week

We are currently looking for an experienced CPCS Appointed Person (AP) to join a long-term construction project based in Farringdon. This is a site-based role with consistent work and the opportunity to support multiple nearby projects as needed.

This role will have a strong focus on the preparation, management and coordination of lifting plans and associated documentation. The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident using Microsoft 365 packages, and experienced in planning lifting operations within a busy construction environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Producing detailed Lift Plans (LPs) for a range of lifting operations
  • Preparing and managing lifting documentation and project records
  • Using Microsoft 365 packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook on a daily basis
  • Coordinating lifting activities with site management and operational teams
  • Reviewing site requirements and ensuring all lifting plans are compliant with current regulations
  • Supporting planning and logistics across multiple nearby projects when required
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
  • Attending planning and coordination meetings

Requirements:

  • Valid CPCS Appointed Person (AP) qualification
  • Strong experience producing Lift Plans within construction projects
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities
  • Proactive and professional approach to project delivery
  • Previous experience working on large construction or infrastructure projects preferred
