Salary: £37.24 per hour
Working hours: 8 hours per night – 16 hours total

The Role

MTS Recruitment is looking for an experienced Appointed Person to plan and coordinate lifting operations during two night shifts at Heathrow Airport.

Duties include:

• Reviewing lift plans, risk assessments and method statements.
• Ensuring lifting operations follow the agreed safe system of work.
• Coordinating with crane supervisors, lifting teams and site management.
• Checking that lifting equipment and personnel are suitable for the planned works.
• Monitoring site conditions and addressing any lifting-related safety concerns.

Requirements

• Valid CPCS Appointed Person qualification (A61) or recognised equivalent.
• Previous experience planning and coordinating lifting operations.
• Strong understanding of lifting safety procedures and site requirements.
• Availability for both 8-hour night shifts.
• Previous airport experience would be advantageous.
