Crane Lifting Supervisor
Location: Heathrow Airport
Rate: £33.25 per hour
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Night Shift)
Duration: 3–5 Weeks
Start Date: Early July
MTS Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Crane Lifting Supervisor to join a busy steelwork project at Heathrow Airport.
This is a hands-on role where, in addition to supervising lifting operations, you will be expected to assist the steel fitting team when lifting activities are not taking place. We are looking for someone who is proactive, safety-focused and happy to work as part of a steel erection team.

Duties:
- Supervising and coordinating all lifting operations on site
- Ensuring lifts are carried out safely and in accordance with lifting plans
- Liaising with crane operators, slingers and site management
- Monitoring compliance with health and safety procedures
- Assisting steel fitters with installation works when required
- Supporting the site team to ensure programme deadlines are achieved
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS Crane/Lifting Supervisor Card
- Previous experience supervising lifting operations on construction or steelwork projects
- Experience working alongside steel erection teams
- Ability to read and understand lifting plans and site documentation
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to assist with steel fitting activities when required
- Right to work in the UK
Airport Security Requirements:
Successful applicants will be required to obtain an airside pass and must be able to provide:
- A clear DBS record
- Five years of checkable employment history
- Relevant identification and supporting documentation
