CSCS Handyman - Heathrow Airport

Location: Heathrow Airport
Pay: £20.72 per hour – Days
Night Rate: £25.90 per hour – Nights
Hours: 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:00pm–4:30am
Employment: PAYE only

MTS Recruitment is looking for an experienced Handyman to work on an ongoing project at Heathrow Airport.

The role will involve general handyman and maintenance duties across the airport, supporting site teams with a variety of practical tasks. Candidates should be confident using hand and power tools and be comfortable carrying out general repair, maintenance and basic building works.

The Role

Typical duties may include:

  • General handyman and maintenance work
  • Minor repairs and basic building works
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Fixing, making good and general site maintenance
  • Assisting other trades where required
  • Keeping work areas clean and safe
  • Working in accordance with Heathrow Airport security and site procedures

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold a valid CSCS card
  • Have previous handyman, maintenance or general building experience
  • Be able to pass the Heathrow Airside Pass application process
  • Have a clear DBS / criminal record
  • Be able to provide a 5-year checkable employment, self-employment and unemployment history
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Be reliable and able to work either days or nights as required

Please note that the Heathrow Airside Pass process can take approximately 4–6 weeks, so candidates must be prepared to complete the full security clearance process before starting airside work.

All work at Heathrow is PAYE, on the books, with holiday pay accrued.
