ECS / JIB Electricians - Heathrow Airport

Location: Heathrow Airport
Job Type: Ongoing contract – PAYE, employed directly by MTS Recruitment
Salary: £23.08–£38.88 per hour, depending on JIB/ECS card and shift
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week minimum
Start Date: January 2027

MTS Recruitment is recruiting Electrical Improvers, Gold Card Electricians, Approved Electricians, and Black Card holders for an ongoing project at Heathrow Airport.

Day and night opportunities are available, depending on project requirements.

Hourly Pay Rates

  • Electrical Improvers: £23.08 days / £29.58 nights
  • Gold Card Electricians: £25.56 days / £36.21 nights
  • Approved Electricians: £27.10 days / £34.93 nights
  • Black Card holders: £30.07 days / £38.88 nights

The Role

  • Carry out electrical installation work appropriate to your qualifications and experience.
  • Work from drawings and specifications.
  • Follow site procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship and health and safety.
  • Work alongside the site team to meet project deadlines.

Working Hours

  • Days: 8:00 am–4:30 pm.
  • Nights: 8:00 pm–4:30 am.
  • 37.5 working hours per week.

Requirements

  • Valid JIB/ECS card appropriate to your role.
  • Relevant electrical installation experience.
  • A reliable approach to attendance, safety and quality.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • For airside work, applicants must meet airport security requirements, including a five-year checkable history, DBS check and GSAT training.
