Finishing Operative

Location: Denham
Salary: £27,000 - £33,000
Shifts: Monday - Thursday 8 am-5 pm, Friday 8 am-12noon

Your Role:
As a Finishing Operative at our Denham site, you’ll work with our advanced finishing plant, ensuring high-quality finishing processes that are integral to our ejector seats. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment.
• Prepare metallic surfaces for further processing, including anodising and passivation.
• Mask components to protect specific areas during finishing.
• Operate manual and automated anodising finishing equipment.
• Inspect finished components and pack them for storage or transport.
• Interpret part numbers, drawing specifications, and finishing processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Basic understanding of measuring equipment and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with health and safety practices, including COSHH regulations.
• A background in manufacturing or engineering is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to quality.
