About the Goods In Goods Out Operative Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Goods In / Goods Out Operative to join our a well-known electronics company based in Slough. This is a hands-on role within the warehouse and logistics team, ensuring the smooth and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing electronic products and components.
Goods In Goods Out Operative Role Key Responsibilities
Goods In:
- Receiving and checking deliveries against purchase orders
- Inspecting electronic goods for damage or discrepancies
- Booking stock into the system accurately
- Labelling and storing products in designated locations
Goods Out:
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Ensuring correct documentation accompanies all shipments
- Coordinating with couriers and logistics providers
- Maintaining high standards of packaging, especially for sensitive electronic items
Goods In Goods Out Operative Role General Duties:
- Stock control and regular inventory checks
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Supporting other warehouse operations as required
Goods In Goods Out Operative Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role (preferred)
- Experience handling electronics or fragile goods is advantageous
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic IT skills (experience with stock systems is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift and move goods

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (with occasional overtime as required)
