Installations Operative - Street Furniture

Position Overview:

MTS is working on behalf of our Client in Hayes. They're looking for a Street Furniture Installations Operative to join their team.

The successful candidate will be joining a small friendly team and work closely with a variety of highly skilled and experienced managers, who will provide employees with the drive to succeed the opportunity for career progression in the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Installation of Street Furniture

  • To install, assemble, clean and maintain various street furniture.
  • To ensure the timely Installation of Street furniture

Operating Machinery

  • To operate relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner.

Driving and Vehicle Maintenance

  • To clean and maintain vehicles.
  • To ensure that all vehicle faults, driving and site incidents and accidents are reported.

Quality Control and Continuous Improvement

  • To ensure quality of workmanship and company quality control systems are adhered to.
  • To follow SSoW and adhere to good working practices.
  • To maintain a high standard and quality of work.

Qualifications & Experience:

Mandatory

  • Holder of a full driving licence for more than 12-months for insurance purposes.
  • Holder of Operative New Road and Street Works Act Certification.
  • Manual Handling

Preferred:

  • GCSE English and Maths.
  • Able to read and understand engineering / construction style drawings.
  • Previous experience in a similar role/ assembly.
  • Lorry Mounted Crane Certification.
  • Use of CAT scanners/ hand and power tools.
  • CSCS Certification.
  • Counterbalance Forklift certification.

Benefits:

  • Salary range: £130 to £151 per shift (dependent on experience).
  • Working Pattern: 8 to 10 hours per shift, Monday to Friday (6:00 am to 14:30 / 16:30 pm).
