Salary: £65k Competitive + Overtime
Shift Pattern: 5, 5, 4, 5, 5, 4

We are recruiting for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1 or B2) to join a leading aviation maintenance provider based at Stansted. This is a key role responsible for managing aircraft maintenance inputs while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

This position suits an experienced, hands-on engineer who can lead from the front and take ownership of projects in a fast-paced Part 145 environment.

The Role

  • Manage day-to-day aircraft maintenance inputs and projects
  • Certify maintenance in line with licence privileges
  • Lead and coordinate a team of engineers across base, line, and AOG support
  • Ensure all work is completed to strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers and aircraft representatives
  • Monitor project progress, reporting daily to senior management
  • Coordinate with hangar teams, support services, and third-party providers
  • Authorise repairs and high-value parts where required
  • Drive continuous improvement across maintenance operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Full unrestricted UK CAA B1 or B2 Licence (B2 must include electrical privileges)
  • ‘A’ and ‘C’ approvals
  • Engine ground run approval
  • Recognised apprenticeship
  • Strong leadership and team management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proven experience working within a Part 145 environment
