Lightning Protection Technician / Electrical Installer
Location: High Wycombe
Hours: Full Time, 45-55 hours per week
Contract: Ongoing temp
A specialist engineering contractor is seeking Lightning Protection Technicians / Electrical Installers to support a project in High Wycombe and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team delivering installation works on large commercial, industrial, and Data Centre projects UK-wide.
The role involves the installation of lightning protection and earthing systems on a variety of structures, including high-profile and complex projects. Candidates should be comfortable working at height.
The Role:
- Installation of lightning protection and earthing systems on commercial, industrial, and Data Centre projects
- Working from drawings, risk assessments, and method statements
- Upgrading and modifying existing lightning protection systems
- Completing site paperwork, job sheets, timesheets, and marked-up drawings
- Communicating professionally with site teams, supervisors, and clients
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
- Working at height using IPAF equipment where required
- Supporting project delivery
Requirements:
- Previous construction, installation, or industrial experience
- Electrical experience advantageous, but not essential
- Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
- Comfortable working at height
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- CSCS Card, Safe Pass, or equivalent
- Manual Handling
- Working at Height
- IPAF
