We are recruiting for a skilled mechanical assembly fitter to join a leading aerospace manufacturing environment in Denham, Buckinghamshire, UB9. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with assembly or engineering experience looking to work within a precision manufacturing setting producing safety-critical components. You will need your own transport due to where the factory is base and we do not offer sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities as a mechanical assembly fitter

• Building assemblies using kits of parts and components
• Masking components ready for blasting processes
• Bonding components using adhesives including Araldite
• Operating curing ovens and preparing parts for inspection
• Following engineering drawings and assembly instructions
• Using measuring equipment and engineering hand tools
• Maintaining high quality and health & safety standards at all times

Requirements need for the mechanical assembly fitter

• Previous assembly, manufacturing or engineering experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Understanding of health & safety procedures, COSHH and quality standards
• Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
• SAP knowledge desirable but not essential
• Own transport is essential due to site location and shift requirements
