The Role

As a Mechanical Assembly Technician , you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting precision aerospace components to the highest quality standards. You will work within a fast-paced production environment where attention to detail and safety are critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble precision mechanical components including seat pans, main beams, and survival kits
  • Work from engineering drawings and technical instructions
  • Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and accurately
  • Record assembly progress and component movement using SAP
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and tool control
  • Follow all FOD, ESD, and health & safety procedures

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Assembly Technician or within precision manufacturing
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Confident using hand tools and assembly equipment
  • Stable 5-year work history
  • GCSEs Grade 3–7 or equivalent qualifications
  • SAP, ESD, or Microsoft Office knowledge beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
