What You’ll Be Doing as a Mechanical Inspector – Goods In
As a Mechanical Inspector, you’ll be at the heart of our Inspection team, ensuring every part meets the highest aerospace standards:
- Inspect components using Mitutoyo CMMs (GEOPAK), Hexagon Absolute Arm, and laser scanning
- Perform dimensional checks with hand tools: Height Gauges, Bore Micrometers, DTIs, and more
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation, including SAP updates
- Track component batches through manufacturing and log non-conforming products
- Follow QA instructions, SOPs, and technical specifications
- Contribute to Lean initiatives and 5S activities
Who We’re Looking for Minimum 5 years’ inspection experience in manufacturing or aerospace
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and ability to read engineering drawings
- Skilled with CMMs, laser scanning, and inspection hand tools
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a team-player attitude
- AS9102 FAIR experience desirable
