Salary: £37000k  to £43000k per annum - 37.5 hours per week 

  • Mon to Fri , 8am to 5pm Early finish every Friday at 12 midday 
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • 9% private pension

We are seeking an NDT Level 2 Technician to join a friendly, knowledgeable, and highly skilled Inspection Department based in Denham, Buckinghamshire. This role is ideal for someone who values quality, precision, and accountability and wants their work to truly matter.

Job Summary

The NDT Level 2 Technician is responsible for carrying out non-destructive testing and inspection activities to verify aerospace components meet required specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. The role supports production and inspection operations while ensuring compliance with company procedures and national safety requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out non-destructive testing of materials and components
  • Perform product verification activities for the NDT department
  • Assemble test items in line with approved company procedures
  • Monitor shielding levels within radiographic facilities to ensure compliance with national safety standards
  • Complete chemical testing of DPI and MPI processes to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Generate, maintain, and review inspection and test documentation
  • Operate computerised inspection systems and associated inspection tools
  • Undertake and deliver relevant in-house and external training as required

 Responsibilities

  • Ensure all inspected products meet defined specifications and quality standards
  • Carry out inspection approvals in accordance with company procedures
  • Comply fully with Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Maintain inspection integrity and accuracy to support production and airworthiness requirements

Person Specification

Essential

  • General work background in a production manufacturing environment
  • Aerospace testing background
  • Basic grounding in Health & Safety policies and procedures

Desirable

  • Additional aerospace or regulated manufacturing experience
  • Broader exposure to advanced inspection systems or aerospace manufacturing processes
  • Higher-level competence with advanced inspection equipment or software

Qualifications & Technical Skills

Essential

  • NDT Level 2 Certification with current maintenance (PCN or NAS 410)
  • Certification in Control of Explosives Regulations
  • Basic PC and SAP skills
  • Operation of computerised inspection systems
  • Experience using inspection tools
