We’re recruiting for a number of Aerospace Stores Operatives to join a highly successful and long-established aerospace manufacturer in Denham. This role supports the production of critical aerospace components used in advanced and life-saving technology.

What’s on Offer for the Aerospace stores operative

  • Salary: £26,822 per annum
  • Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
  • Company offers a shuttle bus to work from surrounding areas 
  • Hours:
    • Mon–Thurs: 08:00–17:00
    • Fri: 08:00–12:00
    • 37.5 hours per week
  • Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
  • Christmas Shutdown: Paid time off until 5 January
  • Pension: 9% employer contribution (private pension)
  • Parking: Free on-site parking

The Aerospace stores operative  

As an Aerospace Stores Operative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring parts and materials flow smoothly through the manufacturing process. This is a physically active role involving standing, manual handling, picking, and packing throughout the day.

Key duties include:

  • Picking, packing, and labelling aerospace parts accurately
  • Working with high-value precision components
  • Checking batch numbers, quantities, and part data using SAP
  • Supporting goods-in, internal stores, and dispatch operations
  • Carrying out visual quality checks and maintaining records
  • Preparing materials for production and on-time delivery
  • Using forklifts, pallet stackers, scissor lifts, and saws (full training provided)

What We’re Looking for in an Aerospace stores operative  

  • Proven experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role within industrial manufacturing
  • Backgrounds from aerospace, automotive, rail, defence, or precision engineering are highly desirable
  • Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet for long periods
  • Confident handling tools, components, and materials
  • Basic IT skills (SAP experience is a plus, not essential)
  • Reliable with a stable employment history
  • Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude
