JIB Pipefitters with IPAF Required – Heathrow Airport (Days & Nights)

Location: Heathrow Airport
Pay: £25.26 – £32.48 per hour PAYE (depending on JIB grade)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

• Day Shift: 08:30 – 16:30
• Night Shift: 20:30 – 04:30
• Holiday: Paid holiday accrual

We are currently recruiting for experienced JIB-qualified Pipefitters with IPAF to support a fit-out project at Heathrow Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile installation project within a secure airport environment, offering competitive PAYE rates and consistent working hours.

The Role

As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing and modifying pipework systems as part of a building services installation project.

Your duties will include:

• Installing pipework systems, supports, and brackets
• Carrying out pipe diversions (cast / steel screwed pipe)
• Piping up Fan Coil Units with valve set arrangements
• Working with pipe sizes from 2" to 6"
• Using rigid threading machines and Mapress crimping systems
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
• Working effectively as part of a site installation team

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must have:

• JIB Card – Qualified Pipefitter / Plumber
• Valid IPAF licence
• Experience installing commercial pipework systems
• Knowledge of threaded steel pipework and mechanical installations
• Ability to work safely within a high-security environment

Important:
Due to airport security requirements, all candidates must:

• Have a clear criminal record
• Provide 5 years of verifiable work history to obtain an airside pass

Experience working on airports, data centres, hospitals, or other secure environments would be beneficial.
