Press Setter – Permanent Role
Location: Slough
Salary: £39,000 – £40,950 per year

We’re hiring a skilled Press Setter to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Slough. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and great benefits, including a pension scheme and generous holiday allowance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Setting the press tooling correctly to required specifications

• Carrying out safety and compliance checks, including PM sheets and guarding verification

• Ensuring production line readiness and verifying first-off quality before handover

• Maintaining high product quality standards throughout the production run

• Supporting the department by assisting with other duties when required (including operating and packing)

• Handling materials and loading presses

• Learning to use a universal grinding machine

• Recording accurate press activity using internal systems

What We’re Looking For:

• Manual press experience is essential

• Press tooling or material knowledge desirable

• Understanding of legal requirements for press setting

• Basic computer skills

• Organised, tidy, and a team player with a proactive attitude
