About the Role
Based at a modern manufacturing and technology centre in Hayes you will take ownership of production operations across a diverse range of sheet metal fabrication and engineering projects
• Plan coordinate and monitor production workloads to meet customer deadlines
• Manage machine and labour resources to optimise production output
• Analyse production performance and identify improvements
• Work closely with internal teams including sales and supply chain
• Monitor third party suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components
• Maximise efficiency using MRP systems to achieve daily targets
• Troubleshoot production issues including delays staffing or machinery challenges
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure safe working practices
• Manage team performance and support staff development
• Maintain high standards of quality and compliance
• Drive continuous improvement across processes and output

Essential Skills and Experience
• Previous experience within sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing
• Ability to read and understand engineering and assembly drawings
• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
Desirable
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence
