Salary: £27,800 per year + 22.6% shift allowance (£34,055 total per year)

We are recruiting a Pyro Packing Operative to join an established aerospace manufacturer in Chalgrove. You will pack and palletise cartridge sets and rocket motors, following engineering instructions and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

The Role

• Pack and palletise cartridge sets and rocket motors in accordance with engineering instructions.
• Prepare deliveries, print labels and ensure accurate dispatch documentation.
• Inspect products and packaging to ensure they meet the required specifications.
• Follow risk assessments, safe systems of work and health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with production, quality and stores teams to meet priorities.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain an organised working environment using 5S principles.

Requirements

• Experience in palletisation, preparing deliveries and printing labels.
• Dangerous goods training covering air, sea and road transport.
• Level D approval.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• SAP experience and previous experience packing cartridges or rocket motors would be advantageous.
• Own transport is essential due to the remote location.
