About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pressurisation Technician to join our Pressurisation Workshop in Southend. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanical and electro-mechanical technician with an aviation background to work in a dynamic and quality-focused environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, fault finding, repair, and reassembly of pressurisation components in accordance with OEM manuals and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Test, fault find, repair, and reassemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components
- Work strictly in accordance with OEM manuals and technical documentation
- Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams and pneumatic schematics
- Ensure all work meets required quality standards and procedures
- Maintain a safe and legally compliant working environment
- Complete workshop reports and material reviews to support customer quotations
- Record inspection findings accurately and clearly
- Support continuous improvement within the workshop
- Ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded at all times
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an aviation environment (essential)
- Experience in a similar workshop or MRO role (preferred)
- Strong understanding of AC and DC motors
- Ability to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams
- Excellent mechanical skills and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and business systems
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- A team-focused attitude with good communication skills
- A safety-conscious mindset
