Sales Engineer – Cryogenics
Location: Acton, London W3
Salary: (£40k+ DOE) plus uncapped commission
Contract: Full-time, office-based

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer with a strong background in high-field superconducting magnets and low-temperature measurement systems to join our growing team in Acton. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in the field and a proven track record in technical sales.

This role is ideal for a mature, self-motivated professional who has worked with leading cryogenic and scientific instrumentation companies such as Oxford Instruments, ICE Oxford, Tesla Engineering (Sussex), or Quantum Design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales of cryogenic and related scientific equipment across the UK and international markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with academic, research, and industrial clients
• Provide technical support and advice throughout the sales process.

Requirements:

• A degree in Physics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical or sales engineering within the cryogenics or scientific instrumentation sector
• Solid understanding of low-temperature physics and associated technologies
• The ability to commute to Acton daily
• Familiarity with superconducting magnets, cryostats, or dilution refrigerators
• Experience working in or selling to research institutions or laboratories
