We are recruiting an experienced Senior Design Engineer

The Role as a Senior Design Engineer 
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing mobility infrastructure, wayfinding, and digital signage products used by millions every day. Working within a collaborative engineering team, you will create technical manufacturing data, solve complex design challenges, and contribute to high-profile projects across the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities as a Senior Design Engineer 
• Produce detailed technical drawings for manufacturing, assembly, installation, and client approval
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) alongside electrical and electronic engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with document control procedures and PDM systems
• Resolve engineering and production challenges efficiently and proactively
• Collaborate across departments to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and cost-effective
• Support smooth transition from design through to manufacturing and installation
• Contribute to continuous improvement in design and quality standards

Must have requirements: 
• Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Engineering discipline
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in mechanical design for fabrication
• Previous experience in architectural metalwork and fabrication design
• Strong CAD and mechanical design capability
• Experience with one or more of: Inventor 3D, AutoCAD 2D, Advance Steel, SolidWorks, or Tekla
• Excellent project management, communication, and organisational skills
• Positive, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
