Location: Hayes, Middlesex
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per year (DOE)
Working Hours: 06:00-14:30

We’re recruiting an experienced Senior Project / Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of construction, civils and street works contracts across London. Based at a Hayes depot, you’ll lead contract delivery, manage client relationships and support operational teams working on public infrastructure projects.

The Role

  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of contracts, supervising and supporting contract managers, administration staff, civils and street works maintenance teams.
  • Ensure that appropriate project plans and programmes are in place and take responsibility for securing the resources required for successful contract delivery.
  • Take accountability for all contracted deliverables, monitoring and reporting against contract KPIs, including the timely delivery and acceptable quality of completed works.
  • Develop and maintain effective project-delivery methods so contracts are completed safely, on time and to a high standard of quality.
  • Act as a senior client-facing representative, manage Trueform’s customer relationships and support technical and commercial meetings.

What We’re Looking For

  • Substantial contract delivery experience, ideally in highways, civils or construction.
  • Strong commercial judgement and experience managing client relationships.
  • Knowledge of construction, manufacturing and installation methods.
  • Familiarity with contract forms such as NEC3 or NEC4.
  • A higher education qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Around ten years’ main contractor or subcontractor experience would be advantageous, as would SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor or IOSH certification and experience in street furniture, rail or airport projects.
