Site Supervisor – Architectural Steelwork

Location: Central London
Contract: Temporary, 4–6 weeks
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong background in steel fitting and structural steelwork for a project in Central London.

The Role

  • Supervising steel fitters and associated site operatives
  • Coordinating daily activities and ensuring work is completed to programme
  • Monitoring workmanship, productivity and site safety
  • Conducting toolbox talks and daily briefings
  • Liaising with site management and other trades
  • Ensuring all steel installation work is completed safely and to specification
  • Assisting with steel fitting duties when required

Requirements

  • Valid Gold CSCS Card
  • Valid SSSTS qualification
  • Previous experience supervising steel fitting or structural steelwork projects
  • Strong understanding of steel installation methods and site safety procedures
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage operatives and maintain project progress
  • Full PPE
