Location: Hayes – Middlesex

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join a forward-thinking and innovative organisation operating at the forefront of smart city and street infrastructure.

Based out of a modern manufacturing and technology centre in Hayes, Middlesex, you’ll play a key role in installing, maintaining, and inspecting street furniture and digital signage assets across Greater London.

You’ll be trusted to manage your own workload, working independently on-site while remaining part of a supportive and highly skilled team. This role offers real scope for progression and skill development in a growing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations for new street furniture
• Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and reactive maintenance
• Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
• Issue minor works and installation certificates
• Work in line with NICEIC standards and regulations
• Safely operate tools and machinery
• Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship
• Promote and adhere to safe working practices

Essential Qualifications & Experience required for the Electrician

• City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 2391-52 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing qualification or 714 Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (Public Lighting)
• Safe Isolation (214) certification
• Working near DNO/IDNO equipment (G39 / 210)

Desirable (Not Essential)

• NRSWA / Streetworks (Signage, lighting & guarding)
• Temporary Traffic Management certification
• Emergency First Aid at Work
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)

Additional Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Aged 25 or over (insurance purposes)
