Street Lighting & Highway Electrical Engineer – Hayes, Middlesex - Permanent vacancy 
£40,000 – £45,000 + Overtime + Van + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Street Lighting & Highway Electrical Engineer to join a growing smart infrastructure team working across Greater London.

This Street Lighting & Highway Electrical Engineer role offers independence, varied site work, early finishes, company vehicle, overtime opportunities and long-term career progression within an innovative organisation delivering smart city and street infrastructure projects.

Key Duties
• Electrical installation of street furniture and highway infrastructure
• Fault finding, diagnostics and reactive maintenance
• EICRs, minor works and installation certification
• Working to NICEIC standards and health & safety regulations
• Working independently across multiple sites

Essential Qualifications & Experience
• City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 2391-52 Inspection & Testing OR 714 Initial & Periodic Inspection Testing Public Lighting
• Safe Isolation 214 certification
• Experience working near DNO/IDNO equipment (G39 or 210)
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Aged 25+ for insurance purposes

Desirable
• NRSWA Streetworks
• Temporary Traffic Management
• Emergency First Aid at Work
• 18th Edition BS7671

Salary & Benefits
• £40,000 – £45,000 per year
• Overtime paid at time and a half
• Company vehicle for take home use
• Monday to Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–12:00
• Early starts/early finishes typically 6:00am–2:30pm
