Streetworks Quality Inspector

Location: Hayes, Middlesex
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working hours: 8 hours a day, 06:00-14:30

MTS Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join an established business delivering street furniture-based engineering and manufacturing solutions.

You will inspect installation, maintenance, excavation, as well as reinstatement works. You will ensure quality work is completed safely and compliantly.

The Role

  • Site inspection and quality control, including inspections of maintenance and installation works.
  • Streetworks compliance and site safety. This includes ensuring SSoW compliance.
  • Reporting and stakeholder liaison. This includes producing audit reports, escalating any recurring defects, and liaising with local authorities or clients.
  • Support management and improve health, safety, quality, and environmental matters.

Requirements

  • Practical experience in streetworks, civil excavation/reinstatement, highway maintenance, or infrastructure installation on the street.
  • Working knowledge of streetworks quality and HSQE requirements.
  • Inspection reporting experience.
  • CSCS card.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • NRSWA Supervisor/Operartive, LANTRA Highways Sector Scheme 12D, CITB site safety training qualifications would be preferred.
