We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Engineer to join our aviation maintenance operations team. This is a key role responsible for coordinating complex aircraft maintenance and modification projects, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
About the Technical Services Engineer role
As a Technical Services Engineer, you will act as the central point of coordination for assigned aircraft maintenance inputs. You will manage technical work packages from planning through to aircraft return-to-service, ensuring all engineering, logistics, and customer requirements are fully aligned.
You will work closely with internal engineering, planning, logistics, and commercial teams, as well as external customers, regulators, and approved vendors.
Technical Services Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Manage aircraft maintenance and modification projects, protecting critical path delivery
- Produce accurate and fully defined maintenance work packages
- Coordinate spares, tooling, manpower, and third-party services prior to aircraft input
- Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for customers on assigned projects
- Provide daily progress updates to customers during maintenance inputs
- Lead internal and customer pre-input planning meetings
- Coordinate with approved vendors and Part-21 design organisations for modifications
- Ensure compliance with EASA and other regulatory requirements
- Review and support completion of technical documentation (Tech Logs, Deferral Logs, etc.)
- Support aircraft import/export and logistics coordination
- Assist with return-to-service documentation and certification support
- Identify and resolve issues impacting schedule or delivery
- Drive continuous improvement across maintenance planning and execution processes
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in aviation maintenance, CAMO, operations, or manufacturing
- Proven experience in engineering project or maintenance planning roles
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance processes and documentation
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage customer relationships professionally
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, MS Project)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Wings or similar) desirable
- A proactive, self-motivated, and detail-focused approach
A technical engineering degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
