Job Description: TIG Welder - Ealing

Location: Ealing, UK
Position: Full-Time, Permanent working Monday to Thursday- 07:00 to 15:45; Friday - 07:00 am to 11:00 am
Salary: Negotiable, depending on the experience 

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join our team in Ealing. If you possess MAG, TIG, and MMA qualifications, that’s a plus, but we’re also open to training candidates who demonstrate strong welding skills in similar areas. As a Welder, Service Engineer, or Fitter Welder, you will play a critical role in the fabrication and repair of metal structures, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG welding on various metals and materials as required.
  • Carry out MAG and MMA welding (if qualified) or undergo training to achieve necessary certifications.
  • Repair, fabricate, and assemble metal structures following engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and service of welding equipment.
  • Ensure that all welding work complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with TIG welding is essential.
  • MAG and MMA welding qualifications (or willingness to train and qualify).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols in a welding environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience as a Service Engineer or Fitter Welder.
  • Experience with various metal materials and welding techniques.
  • Certification in welding procedures is advantageous.
