Store person – Aerospace Tools Specialist  WE ARE STILL RECRUITING!

Location: Denham (UB9)
Salary: £27,000–£28,000 + 22.5% Shift Allowance (approx. £32,800 per annum)
Shifts: Monday to Friday, rotating 6am–2pm / 1:45pm–10pm

We are recruiting for a Tool Store Operative  – Aerospace Tools Specialist to join a niche, world-class aerospace manufacturer in Denham. This is a key role supporting production by ensuring engineers and technicians have the right tools and equipment when they need them.

As a Tool Store Operative  – Aerospace Tools Specialist, you will take ownership of tooling, fixtures, and consumables within a fast-paced aerospace environment, playing a vital role in maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Issuing, replenishing, and controlling tooling and consumables
  • Managing stock takes and maintaining accurate digital records
  • Tracking tooling movement across the business
  • Picking and packing tooling and materials for production
  • Ordering stock and maintaining optimal inventory levels
  • Supporting dispatch, deliveries, gauge calibration, and tool regrinds
  • Keeping the tool store organised, tidy, and safety compliant

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Strong experience using hand tools and industrial tools in aerospace or engineering
  • Experience using SAP or another MRP system
  • Experience working with internal customers and external suppliers
  • Background in tooling, engineering stores, or manufacturing environments
  • Good MS Word and Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A proactive and safety-focused approachyou.
