£27,000–£28,000 + 22.5% Shift Allowance (approx. £32800k per annum)
Mon–Fri Rotating Shifts (6am–2pm / 1:45pm–10pm)

Are you well organised, reliable, and confident working with a wide range of tools and equipment? We’re recruiting for a Tool Storeman to support our aerospace manufacturing team in Denham. This is a hands-on role that keeps production running smoothly, and we’re looking for someone with strong communication skills and experience in a busy engineering or tooling environment.

As a Tool Storeman, you’ll manage tooling, fixtures, consumables, and stock to ensure everything is available when needed. You’ll also handle picking, packing, ordering stock, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structure, responsibility, and being at the heart of operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Issue, replenish, and control tooling and consumables for internal teams and subcontractors
  • Carry out stock taking, update records, and track all tooling movements accurately
  • Manage picking and packing duties, ensuring items are prepared correctly and on time
  • Order stock and maintain correct inventory levels to support production
  • Assist with dispatch, deliveries, gauge calibration, and tooling regrinds
  • Keep the tool store well organised, tidy, safe, and efficient at all times

We’re looking for a Tool Storeman with:

  • Proven experience in a tooling, engineering stores, or manufacturing environment
  • A strong understanding of various tools, fixtures, gauges, and consumables
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with multiple departments
  • Solid MS Word/Excel abilities and high attention to detail
  • A proactive, safety-focused approach and strong organisational skills
